Download the halo 2 game tracker

Friday, August 31st, 2007

I’ve had a lot of requests from people wanting to the halo 2 game tracker on their sites so I’ve decided to make it available to download. I know I should have done it a long time ago, and yes I know halo 3 comes out in about 25 days. But if you still want to use it, then here it is.

Of course I’d appreciate it if you left some link or credit to me on there but let’s be honest either your going to or your not and I can’t stop you, so do whatever you want with it. All the source files should be in the zip folder. If you want to change the default gamertag that loads up look in the index file and change “gamertag=Test1″ to whatever you want. Also I added the two new maps to it now so those thumbs should be showing up.

Sorry I haven’t been able to work on this anymore but I’ve been really busy working on SnapPages lately. Who knows I might do something for halo 3.

Back to the lab…

In case anyone is worried that Test 1 Studios is going away or that it isn’t doing well, that’s not the case at all. In fact it is doing so well that I’m actually able to do what I originally set out to do when I first started the company. The goal of my production company, Test 1 Studios, has always been to create great web applications. It’s what I love doing. I always have had several ideas for some great applications but they take time and money to develop, and since I had neither of those, I needed a way to get both without signing my life away. Adobe Sync SWF Contest Winner

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

Recently I entered a contest Adobe was having for a new Sync SWF SDK they’ve developed for their Breeze application. Breeze is a web conferencing application so the contest was asking for flash based add-ons that would help improve the overall collaboration experience. It sounded like a neat idea and it didn’t hurt that they were giving away cash prizes to the winners, the only problem was I didn’t find out about the contest until September 27 and the due date was September 30. Luckily I had recently been thinking about creating a flash based mind mapping application and so I thought it would be the perfect fit for the contest. (more…)

Halo 2 - Game Tracker

Saturday, September 23rd, 2006

Here is another one of my side projects I’ve been working on in my spare time, if there is such a thing. Lately I’ve been thinking about mixing to of my favorite things, web development and video games. That is probably the nerdiest sentence that I have ever written, but that’s ok. Nerd is the new cool right? The only problem with marketing to video game companies was I didn’t really have any samples of work that I’ve done that would translate into the video game market. So I decided to take my favorite game (Halo 2) and create a small application that would take the RSS feeds from the game developers site (bungie.net) and use those to show the stats from some of the previous games that I have played. Introducing SnapPages

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

So what is SnapPages? For those of you that haven’t seen this project I’ve been working on for quite some time, let me give you an overview. The idea is pretty simple. It’s basically a collection of online applications that I’ve developed in flash that allow you to organize and share different aspects of your life. Imagine if MySpace and Apple’s iLife were combined and you basically get the idea behind SnapPages. (more…)
